Get a couple of cans of expanding foam insulation. Squirt out rock shapes on a hard flat surface (covered with garbage can liners if you don't want it to stick). Don't make them too thick or too big because it expands alot. After this has thoroughly dried and expanded, with regular spray paint, first spray it with a grey color, let that dry, then lightly overspray it with black. Looks great with house plants around it!
